ABOUT THE ROLE

We're on the lookout for a senior, generalist HR professional with significant knowledge of labor law who can offer professional advice on all areas within HR. As the HR Manager, you'll lead our HR strategies, foster a positive work culture, and drive employee engagement. This is a newly created role in support of the anticipated growth in our Netherlands location.  
  • Supporting and advising leaders and employees in HR-related matters according to Dutch labor law.
  • Overseeing, improving and creating new HR processes and policies where required.
  • Acting as a trusted partner in recruitment activity, working in collaboration with our dedicated Talent Acquisition Team. 
  • Collaborating with other HR professionals within the organisation to ensure alignment between locations.
  • Ensuring that both offices in Leiden and Doetinchem operate efficiently and embeding the Leo brand and culture (regular travel between both locations will be required).
  • Playing an integral part in global and local projects improving the employee journey.
  • Initiating and managing HR projects in relation to legal requirements, continuous improvement and growth plans. 
  • Leading employee events for the Netherlands within culture, leadership and Employer Branding. 
  • Advising leaders on ways to accelerate and support growth and manage change within this location. 


Essential Skills:

  • ​​A 'go getter' attitude, someone who can work on their own initiative and is passionate about creating a workplace in which our people can thrive and experience our unique culture
  • At least 3 years of HR Management experience having worked in the full HR ‘lifecycle’ - including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, learning and development, etc. 
  • Strong working knowledge of local employment law.
  • Have exceptional organisation and planning skills with attention to details. 
  • Experience in creating and executing an HR and office budget.
  • Experience from supporting leaders and employees in all HR-related matters.
  • Ability to work in a global environment and supporting discussions online where required.

Nice to have skills:        

  • Previous experience in tech companies or a fast-growing international company.
