ABOUT THE ROLE             
Due to our continued growth, we're now looking for a Compliance Manager to join our high performing team. As a Compliance Manager, you ensure your organization operates within legal bounds while upholding ethical standards and minimising risk. Adaptability and effective communication are crucial as you navigate evolving regulations and stakeholders, safeguarding your organization's reputation and sustainability.      



  • Working closely with the Head of Compliance and wider Compliance team to uphold standards and embed a culture of compliance across the business.
  • Holding overall responsibility for ensuring compliance of your markets. Providing support and guidance to various business areas, covering the full operational compliance life cycle including (but not limited to) responsible gaming, AML, customer complaints, regulatory proceedings, and marketing content.
  • Maintaining awareness of changing legislation, regulation, and industry standards interpreting this into relevant policy changes as required, highlighting any development required, risks and/ or areas for improvement.
  • Acting as a “business partner” when working with key stakeholders, including the Management team, to understand and support the commercial landscape and products to help solve compliance challenges.
  • Managing and develop a small team of direct reports.
  • Advising the business on compliance with regulations in relation to existing and future licensing requirements and act as a key member of associated projects.
  • Handling any compliance escalations as required.
  • Interpreting new and changing legislations, regulations, and industry guidance, converting these into internal policy requirements and supporting with the practical implementation of all requirements.

Essential skills:

  • Strong leadership experience of Dutch, German and other European gambling markets within an iGaming business.
  • Demonstrable experience of a compliance role (operator, or regulator) with understanding of KYC, AML, Safer Gambling and Fraud, or a compliance/ relevant professional qualification is desirable, but not essential.
  • Enjoy and be comfortable with the accountability of working and making decisions autonomously in an environment that will always have a level of ambiguity.
  • A self-driven mentality with the confidence to drive your own agenda rather than through micro management support and direction.
  • A high-level understanding of the project management process would be advantageous.

Nice to have skills:  

  • Native or fluent speaker of the Dutch and/or German language
  • Experience of working within a multi-brand organisation
