Engineering Manager - Brands of Leo
Description
As an Engineering Manager in the Brands of Leo department you will work and lead a talented team of developers based in the Stockholm, Newcastle and Malaga office to create innovative and high performing web and mobile apps for a range of LeoVegas’ brands such as BetMGM, BetUK and Expekt.
You will have a mobile first approach to development, with an understanding of software development.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Delivering the Design, build, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and efficient solutions within your team
- Optimising resource utilisation, enhancing performance, and ensuring reliability across cloud platforms
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and streamline processes
- Improve and maintain the applications with a product focus
- Contribute to launching new brands and brand expansions into new territories
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Essential skills:
- Solid engineering background, spending at least 5+ years working as an engineer.
- Strong people management and leadership skills with at least 3+ years of managing a team.
- Experience in leading and developing people and teams through goals, inspiration, transparency and trust.
- Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching and mentoring agile software development teams.
Nice to have skills:
- Experience from the iGamingExperience with React Native
