Description
Responsibilities
- Monitor building entry points and permitting entry as necessary to guests.
- Maintain a positive disposition at all times.
- Greet employees, building tenants, Tyler clients, tenant clients, and guests.
- Ensure guests properly sign in and out when arriving to and departing from the facility.
- Ensure guests are escorted by a Tyler employee or building tenant while visiting.
- Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with employees, building tenants and Tyler clients
- Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with regulatory and other business requirements.
- Ensure front desk has coverage during core business hours (8am-5pm, M-F EST).
- Maintain strict confidentiality as related to all security and personnel matters.
- May assist with coordinating and/or participating in CPR certification courses for Tyler staff.
- Answer telephones and direct the caller to the appropriate staff member following established procedures as needed.
- Prepare and ship all (Fed-Ex, and USPS parcels for Moraine-based shipments.
- Log deliveries received into the office (i.e., FedEx, Amazon, etc.).
- Sort incoming mail/packages and deliver mail to recipient on a daily basis.
- Manage and maintain organization of supplies in building such as refilling coffee machines. Snacks/ water/ soda
- Fulfill accountabilities associated with facilities as appropriate.
- Assist Tyler management with food order coordination as requested.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in reception, security, and administration.
- Good written and verbal communication skills including the ability to write incident reports and create shipping orders.
- Demonstrates situational awareness with the ability to de-escalate a situation when needed
- Organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Solid problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well independently and collaborate with a team.
- Ability to work a phone system/switchboard (what computer experience is needed)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. to move shipments and building supplies as needed.
- Ability to sit for extended amounts of time.
- Ability to de-escalate situations that become tense and impose security concern.
- CPR Certification preferred or the willingness to obtain and maintain it if offered by the company.
- Valid Driver’s License.
