Responsibilities

What you will do…
 
  • Collaborate with other product owners, strategy, sales, implementation, designers, and engineers to design solutions that enable our customers accomplish their mission critical work.
  • Gather highly complex requirements from a variety of sources to support the product development process.
  • Define and document use cases and conduct research/analysis to support the product development process including learning and analyzing customer business requirements and enhancing knowledge as experience grows in the position.
  • Proactively communicate with senior management on progress, product performance and any major issues for consideration, including market trends or competition related to the product area.
  • Demonstrate new functionality to stakeholders and customers with real world use cases
  • Periodically provide sales support by assisting in responding to RFI's and RFP's
  • Work on individual features that are part of a much larger application.
  • Build and ship high-quality customer-facing features.
  • Participate in an agile development environment.
  • Contribute to the advancement of the team environment through integrity, leadership, and continuous knowledge transfer.
  • Adapt to changing products, methodologies and technologies.

 

Qualifications

You will be very successful here if you have:  
 
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, information systems, computer science, or comparable work experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills involving communicating technical and non-technical information in writing and verbally.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills involving the ability to manage multiple work tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • The ability to work within a team environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with data modeling and related database concepts.
  • Proficiency with Office 365 and familiarity with Miro, Jira and user-centered design.
  • Experience in public sector and governmental accounting (a plus).
  • Must be able to travel occasionally if requested.
