The Transportation management division, located in Latham, NY, has been providing innovative school transportation management software, telematics hardware, and consulting for more than four decades.

We are seeking a Telematics Product Analyst who can provide exceptional business value and enhance our best of breed telematics solutions. The strongest candidates will have solid telematics expertise and have a passion for devising cutting edge technologies to meet market needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all sales and operations inquiries related to telematics hardware
  • Collaborate with Geotab's team to resolve any hardware-related issues, address customer needs, and ensure seamless integration of their telematics solutions into our operations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on Telematic installation procedures, troubleshooting techniques and maintenance procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, engineering, and product development, to drive the success of our telematics hardware initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the telematics hardware team.
  • Occasional travel to client sites and tradeshows required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in telematics hardware management, preferably with a focus on fleet management or transportation.
  • Strong knowledge of telematics hardware solutions, including GPS tracking devices, sensors, and communication protocols.
  • Proven experience working with Geotab or other leading telematics providers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Fundamental understanding of the functions, operations, applications, and customer interactions related to school bus services.
