Tyler Technologies is looking for a Senior Manager of Digital Marketing to join our Marketing team in the Plano, TX office! The Senior Manager of Digital Marketing will lead a multi-functional digital marketing team and oversee the strategic use of digital marketing channels to effectively reach and engage Tyler’s target audiences.

This individual will be responsible for defining channel marketing strategies and leading a high-performing team to activate and deliver high-impact marketing campaigns through the effective use of email, social media, SEM, webinars, paid advertising and sponsorships. This experienced leader will bring vision, strategic agility, and a data-driven approach to maximize the effectiveness of Tyler’s digital marketing channels.

Candidates will bring extensive experience in the strategic use of digital marketing channels to drive business growth. They will have a proven ability to coach and develop high performing teams, influence marketing investment strategies, and manage strong partnerships with advertising agencies. Candidates will require strong communication, project management and analytical skills, and have the ability to influence across all levels of a large, complex organization.

This role will serve as a partner to business-facing marketing teams and will require strong business and financial acumen to ensure alignment with Tyler’s growth priorities. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of digital marketing and leadership experience with a proven track record for delivering measurable business results.

This leadership position will play a critical role in advancing the strategic use of digital marketing channels to support Tyler’s priority growth initiatives. Success in this role will require very strong cross-functional relationships and alignment with Tyler’s business marketing teams. This senior leader will have high expectations for defining and implementing digital marketing strategies that increase Tyler’s brand awareness and fuel a demand generation engine that consistently delivers high-quality actionable leads for Sales. 
 
The senior manager will need to architect and communicate a clear vision, build support and momentum in newly defined strategies, effectively influence change, encourage innovative thinking and foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture. 

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive digital marketing and advertising strategies that align with Tyler’s marketing objectives and business growth targets.
  • Define digital marketing goals, KPIs, and success metrics, ensuring marketing campaigns and tactics are data-driven and measurable.
  • Partner with cross-functional marketing teams to ensure a cohesive and unified approach to the orchestration and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Continuously analyze digital marketing trends, audience insights, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of digital marketing professionals to maximize potential and impact
  • Provide performance feedback and professional development opportunities to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Build depth and breadth of subject-matter-expertise across Tyler’s digital marketing channels

Campaign Oversight:

  • Oversee the activation and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns and tactics through strategic use of email marketing, social media, SEM, webinars, advertising & sponsorships.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging, branding, and audience targeting across digital marketing channels
  • Manage strategic partnerships with external advertising agencies.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  • Establish KPIs and performance benchmarks across digital marketing channels
  • Utilize data & analytics to measure, report, and optimize marketing channel and campaign performance
  • Influence and apply data-driven decisioning to increase marketing ROI and maximize business impact

Innovation and Optimization:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, integrating best practices into digital marketing strategies.
  • Explore new channels and tactics to enhance the digital presence and reach of Tyler’s brand, including advanced targeting, AI-driven personalization, and emerging social platforms.
  • Drive innovation in campaign tactics, audience segmentation, and customer journeys to continuously improve client experiences. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing
  • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role 
  • Proven expertise in managing and optimizing digital channels such as email, social media, SEM, webinars, and paid advertising. 
  • Experience managing >$1M annual marketing budget 
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and experience using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager).
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a track record of managing high-performance teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
