Solutions Engineer
Description
The Solutions Engineer supports the Solutions Consultants, so they are armed with the appropriate level of technical knowledge. The incumbent has an in-depth knowledge of Tyler’s solutions and is often seen as the “go-to” person for the technical guidance and support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality phone and email communications to ensure the software and applications currently in use by the demo team are in working order.
- Perform extensive troubleshooting of key software and hardware components and tracks progress in JIRA.
- Take ownership of technical incidents and coordinate resolution with product development team when necessary
- Assist in upgrade planning and execution of Demo Environments
- Be responsible for operation and software functionality of the different Demo Environments. The triage of Software issues can happen on Weekends and Evenings on occasion.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of Tyler solutions essential.
- Previous experience demonstrating software solutions critical.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter in addition to a team player.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and employees
- required.
- Must possess general computer (PC) literacy and proficiency with MS Office products.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Have a solid understanding of the Public Safety software suite and be able to work with Solutions Consultants to ensure our products can be shown fully at demos.
- Communicate clearly and effectively.
- Show professionalism when dealing with all aspects of internal and external relationships.
- Travel 5-10%
