Payments Analyst

Description

The Payments sales team, part of the ERP and Civic sales group, is seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate to help drive transactional revenue through collaborative work with our sales representatives. The Payments Analyst will be responsible for analyzing client transactional data, scoping Payments projects, developing proposals, and providing client-facing negotiations alongside the PAG Account Representative/Executive. The ideal candidate for this position should be capable of collaborating with interdepartmental resources, have successful client-facing experience, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and ability to deliver data analysis.
 
 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining knowledge to support sales initiatives, including but not limited to Payments platform for PAG portals/Cashiering, Payments Enterprise Portal, and the payments industry.
  • Become a subject expert on Tyler’s Payment Platform, solutions, and market approach
  • Attend sprint reviews, support and implementation calls as needed
  • Serve as a sales resource to understand client needs and requirements
  • Work alongside New and Existing Sales Teams to dissect client payment needs to delivery accurate proposals.
  • SME in sales process for client questioning related to Payments functionality, project scoping, pricing, industry standards and payment needs
  • Act as gatekeeper for data analysis work
  • You will be assessing data from multiple sources, competitor pricing, address any concerns related to pricing and communicate pricing to clients
     
 

Qualifications

  • Strong excel skills
  • Tyler product knowledge
  • A track record demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills, an attention to detail, strong time management skills and the ability manage multiple work tasks effectively 
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business, finance, or related field.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to convey sensitive pricing concepts in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.
