We are Tyler Nebraska, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tyler Technologies. We are a talented team of IT professionals who manage the award-winning Nebraska.gov state portal and build web and mobile applications for our State and local government. Nearly every Nebraskan uses our online tools and services to interact with the state, and we take tremendous pride in simplifying Nebraska government interactions.
We are currently looking for a talented and driven Project Manager. A true professional who takes pride in every aspect of their work and is up to any challenge. A self-motivated, resourceful individual who can focus on priorities and goals.

Responsibilities

1. Serve as the subject matter expert and own the project life cycle, i.e. road map of future projects
  • Meets regularly with Customer, Partner & Stakeholders relative to the products
  • Drive and accept the product changes with the Development Team
2. Manage the feature request queue or backlog
3. Creates or maintains technical documentation relative to the product
4. Drive grooming reviews for enhancements and feedback
  • Be able to appropriate prioritize work items for multiple products
5. Must be knowledgeable about the Products
  • Communicating the vision of the project
  • Fluidly navigate the project
  • Speak intelligently about our products functionality
  • Able to identify improvements that would increase adoption or have a significant impact on usability
  • Awareness of the partners business process
6. Be the primary source of education for all stakeholders
7. Manage relationships and expectations of technical stakeholders
8. Oversee execution of integration development activities performed by technical team
9. Lead the effort of maintaining accurate and informative documentation

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholder groups
  • Must be resourceful, curious and not shy to ask ‘Why’ and ‘How’
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with development teams
  • Ability to translate business requirements into well-articulated user stories and requirements
