Description

We are seeking a Regional HR Director who will lead and facilitate the ongoing development of a highly effective, strategic HR function in the Philippines. This role ensures the organization has the structure, culture and talent needed to deliver on business objectives.  


Responsibilities

  • Accountable for Philippine HR operations and processes and supporting Tyler’s strategic objectives within Tyler’s growing Philippines entity.
  • Oversees the daily operations of the HR department, including leading and motivating our HR team members to ensure the achievement of goals and objectives
  • Subject matter expert for Tyler’s Philippines payroll process and systems, including final review and approvals for bi-weekly payroll.
  • Build expertise and capacity of Tyler’s Global HR team in the area of Philippines labor law, best practices and culture.
  • Subject matter expert on Philippines compensation and benefits.
  • Primary point of HR contact for Tyler leaders with questions regarding teams operating in the Philippines.
  • Secondary point of contact for all HR inquiries from Philippines employees.
  • HR business partner to Philippines Operations Director and US-based Philippines operations leader.
  • Serves as a partner to Divisional HR leaders and teams in the administration of site-level performance management and leave/disability administration.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining a rewarding workplace culture for Philippines-based teams, both in virtual and in-person environments.
  • Leads, participates in and advocates for cross-divisional HR department projects.
  • Occasional travel to US offices for in-person collaboration with Tyler HR teams.


Qualifications

  • Must be fluent in both English and Tagalog.
  • Strong preference for supporting a US-based organization with Philippine operations
  • 5+ years of experience leading HR operations for software companies in Metro Manila.
  • 2+ years running payroll within the Philippines.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Expert knowledge of principles, practices and functions of Human Resource Management.
  • Prior payroll/HRIS implementation experience.
  • Ability to work off hours as-needed to collaborate across multiple time-zones.
  • Ability to travel to US (once per year as-needed).
  • Must be able to work at least 3 days a week at our BGC Office in Taguig.
