Clerical Team Lead
Description
Responsibilities
- Develop personnel via effective training, coaching, and feedback. Notify Appraisal Project Supervisor of employee performance issues.
- Assign and coordinate work production and cost records of different work activities performed in the office, and occasionally ensure that production and control logs are kept current.
- Assist with scheduling of staff as directed. Assign, manage work, and monitor the productivity various staff as needed to support Project Supervisor.
- Create and maintain various logs, reports, and spreadsheets as needed for project managers and/or clients.
- Professionally represent the company and the client to property owners and other members of the public. Route field, property owner and any questions and complaints such as data verification process issues, property values questions and related issues of varying degrees of complexity to correct leadership in a courteous manner.
- Lead, contribute to and manage work streams, resolving any discrepancies as needed.
- Contribute to assisting field staff by prepping cards, gathering maps, answering project and other related questions and assisting with other related work streams.
- Assist in organizing office personnel tasks in a fashion that will produce the expected results.
- Perform data entry when needed.
- Assist and lead staff with varying degrees of issue resolution including but not limited to basic to moderate problem solving, researching, and clarifying information.
- Acquire, maintain and apply knowledge and understanding of current county rules and appraisal terminology.
- Occasional local travel may be required.
- Regular attendance is required.

- Performs other duties of a similar nature, as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior knowledge of appraisal systems is preferred, including the ability to quickly demonstrate learning of advanced appraisal systems and train others on them.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively train and guide office personnel.
- Solid organizational skills including keen attention to detail with prior experience prioritize multiple work streams and the ability to effectively maintain work streams.
- Good interpersonal skills when building and maintaining trusting relationships.
- Ability to effectively address basic to moderate conflicts and problems.
- Familiarity with appraisal business and processes is preferred.
- At least 2 years office experience required, team lead experience preferred.
- Good customer service skills with internal and external customers.
- Strong PC skills, including advanced knowledge of MS-Word and Excel, or equivalents.
- Must be able to provide reliable transportation and maintain valid driver’s license with personal liability insurance vehicle coverage.
