As a Technical and Innovation Project Leader for our global C&P(Creativity & Productivity) business, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team for Technology development and New Product Introduction (NPI). You will make the difference by leading the team towards the agreed objectives and by managing activities across multiple sites. Your role will be to bridge teams and in particular the interface between key stakeholders such as Software, Firmware, Quality. Your technical background and your ability to reduce risks, manage issues resolution and solve problems at technology, project and portfolio level will be a great asset. Work with different groups - Product, Design, Engineering, Operations - to capture consumer insights / needs into innovation roadmap and product design.
Lead regular cross functional workshop to identify key experiences, to evaluate technical solutions or technologies for our future products
Define and drive technology roadmap in order to support innovation roadmap.
Develop project scope and project plan based on technology roadmap and techno bricks readiness.
Manage and coordinate complex projects that involve software and hardware development.
Manage and coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) development through the product life cycle process from concept to product delivery - apply project management standards.
Build and coordinate milestones with Software and Hardware organizations
Establish, own and monitor product and project Cost, Schedule, product eXperience (quality).
Synthesize and present the project's stake in a comprehensive manner to help the team make decisions, make clear recommendations when needed.
Ensure and develop the right level of documentation / specifications required to manage interfaces between key teams such as Software and Hardware teams.
Report and communicate on a regular basis; escalate when project goals are at risk. This includes regular reporting of project status to key stakeholders and Head of Engineering through management review and Gate meetings as prescribed by internal development processes.
Identify, evaluate and escalate the risks associated with project activities and take appropriate actions to control the risks and to drive solutions.
Synthesize data and information related to scope or risks change.
Collaborate with Managers to improve project organization, efficiency (tools, processes).
Ensure that project activities operate within the policies and processes of the organization.
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Leader for Software development with Hardware dependencies.
Experience in driving cross-functional teams for co-creation sessions.
Creative mindset - Design Thinking knowledge and experience.
Strong cross technical knowledge in various fields, especially in Software, Embedded Software (ESW) / Firmware (FW) and Electrical Engineering (EE).
Deep knowledge of Project Management Standard & Methodology from project concepts stage to full development - familiar with latest standards like Agile Scrum Management, SAFe, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Great interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across organizations and geographies
Faculty to interact, influence and negotiate effectively with all levels of management.
Ability to manage multiple tasks activities.
Independent and Critical thinking with Analytic skills.
Good understanding of working with a functional team in a Global Environment.
Ability to travel - Domestic on regular basis and Intercontinental based on project events.
Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering
PMI Agile Certified Practitioner.
