Senior ENG Manager of C&P China

Creativity & Productivity (C&P) is the biggest division of Logitech, consisting of the tech devices and apps that help people be at their creative and productive best in their personal workspace. Our C&P business is a key pillar of Logitech’s future as a global brand known for great design and exceptional user experiences. 

You will be in the rapidly growing C&P team in China, and play a senior leadership role in strategizing and executing a new product pipeline in a range of segments, including human-interface devices, personal working place solutions, human-computer interaction, and other emerging technologies in China.

  • Lead a hardware engineering team in China for China business needs:

    • Articulate team’s strategy: set team’s goals and metrics,  and drive execution;

    • Recruit and lead a diverse team directly or indirectly, and manage team’s performance;

    • Inspire team members’ motivation and potential to exceed expectations; 

    • Cultivate innovation, design-driven, growth mindset which complies with Logitech’s shared value.

  • Deliver the China-specific exploration, techno bricks projects, and new products development:

    • Work with different groups- Product, Design, Engineering, Operations to capture consumer insights/needs into innovation roadmap and product design;

    • Partner with key stakeholders to influence the C&P technologies development with the specific needs of China;

    • Strategically organize engineering resources on the technical feasibility study, new product development, crisis management and CIP program;

    • Help to maximize the C&P engineering team performance - compliance, sustainability, quality, productivity, and cost. 

  • Build a scalable internal and external techno network moving toward building China-oriented critical and core competencies in C&P: 

    • Partner with marketing, strategic alliance, and innovation teams to identify the technical alliance opportunities in China;

    • Scout, validate and develop critical components in China for China;

    • Develop the external engineering resources for critical and common technologies for China-specific.

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years of engineering leadership experience with concept validation, techno exploration, and new product development in the consumer electronics industry and a high-tech environment;

  • Have hands-on engineering background with a minimum of 5 years of experience as an engineer and technical leader;

  • Ability to understand the technology trend and ecosystem in China to influence the C&P techno development;

Desired Soft and Technical  Skills

  • Strategic thinking and planning,  and hands-on experience of the execution; 

  • Blended Eastern and Western culture, and appreciate the value of local driving, and share with global teams;

  • Experience in design thinking and sprints to drive user-centric design process;

  • Ability to create a network/contact and drive TBs/projects with external partners

  • Able to hands-on drive activities and tasks by yourself

  • Entrepreneurship mindset;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.


  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software and Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
