What You Will Do:
Risk Manager supports and maintains the necessary organizational structure and systems to support and manage organizations risk program.
What You Will Bring:
Bachelors Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field required (or Associate's degree with RN License required)
2 Years healthcare setting dealing with risk management, quality, and regulatory issues.
Certification & Licensures
RN license in State of Virginia required for employee w/Associate's degree
• Ability to objectively perform and document investigations; analyze business and clinical processes and provide recommendations for improvement; read and understand medical record documentation; understand and apply laws and regulations affecting the healthcare industry. • Ability to work with people in a tactful, diplomatic manner, demonstrating excellent judgment and discretion in dealing with both internal and external customers and regulatory agencies. • Ability to maintain confidentiality required. • Proficiency with software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and ability to input and manage data and generate reports using database software required.
