What You Will Do:
Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all newborn data collection and records activities such as creating living birth certificates, establishing paternity, Bureau of Vital Records reporting, National Center for Health Statistics reporting, and CCHD. The Coordinator is responsible for educating interpreters and support staff on regulatory updates. This position ensures all data collected is accurate, and paternity is established and factual prior to submission to generate revenue for Winchester Medical Center. The Coordinator participates in monthly collaborative.
What You Will Bring:
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
One year experience as an administrative associate required, preferably in maternal child services
Certification & Licensures
Notary Public required
Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of computer systems required
Attention to details required
Ability to work independently required
Excellent customer services skills required
Competent to successfully interact with patients according to their special needs which may apply based on the age of the patient served required
Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
Ability to travel required
