What You Will Do:

Functions as a super user to insure department compliance with system and operational changes. Utilizes standards, guidelines and written procedures for performing registration functions. Assists with training to support ongoing staff education and development. Applies financial screening guidelines to insure collectable accounts and functions as a resource to staff.

What You Will Bring:

Education

High school graduate or equivalent required Two years college preferred

Experience
Previous experience Registration, Patient Accounting in Healthcare preferred

Certification & Licensures
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required *
Certified Healthcare Access Associate, NAHAM Certification required within 1 year of obtaining position

Qualifications
Knowledge of Revenue Cycle, Account Receivable and Patient Accounting Able to use good judgment and critical thinking skills to prioritize multiple tasks and problem solve. Ability to demonstrate leadership and decision making Knowledge of Medical Terminology
