Gerrit Engineer (contractor)

Contractor role, anticipated need for 12 months, could extend
Remote anywhere in contiguous US OK, must be able to align working hours with PST zone.

As a DevOps-Infrastructure engineer, you'll work with our developers as well as our build & release teams to troubleshoot and do initial root-cause of issues using logs and crash dumps, then work to provide a solution. Responsibilities:
Debug and identify root-cause for issues raised by development and build & release teams.
Be part of the Gerrit development and maintenance team to ensure the availability and resilience of the system
Qualifications :
Excellent problem solving, debugging, troubleshooting skills
Experience reading logs and crash dumps
Experience with git, gerrit, github, Jenkins
Experience working in an embedded software environment
Strong communication skills
Ability to work with multiple teams to drive a solution.
Required Skills :
Experience with HAProxy configuration and setup
Experience with SQL query and PostgreSQL
Strong Experience with BASH scripting and Python 3 OOP programming language
Experience with Gerrit ReviewDB and NoteDB - database backend for Gerrit
Extensive experience in Gerrit v2.15 and above
Hands-on experience troubleshooting Gerrit related issues 
Strong system administration experience - Linux.
