This position is open to all current Maintenance Supervisor I and Maintenance Supervisor IIs (Car Equipment)

This position will provide support and supervision to the Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) OBI new initiative.
 
Responsibility:
  • Basic knowledge of CBTC systems.
  • Make weekly CBTC staffing schedule.
  • Assign hourly employees to CBTC tasks.
  • Assign staff to read and determine failures from TT and download information.
  • Assign findings to Car Inspector or Road Car Inspector for repair.
  • Compile CBTC reports including part failures for future analysis and material forecasting.
  • Know or be willing to learn programs on PTE and laptops related to CBTC such as ATS and SPLUNK.
  • Attend CBTC meetings
 Maintenance Supervisor II (Car Equipment) Salary Range:
1st Step – Entrance           $112,717
2nd Step – 7th Month        $114,313
3rd Step – 2nd Year           $118,338

Education and Experience:

This position is open to current Maintenance Supervisors (Car Equipment) employees who have a permanent status in title.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work at various field locations on a 24 hour, 7days/week basis in the performance of assigned Tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent Decision-making skills
