Description

The Integration Consultant is responsible for delivering high quality consulting and knowledge transfer services to clients regarding data exchanges between 3rd party systems and Tyler applications. Consulting and knowledge transfer services can be delivered on-site, or remotely via webinar. The incumbent consults and partners with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of business/technical requirements and strives to ensure that client representatives correctly utilize product APIs and data exchange tools.       
  
Travel Required: 30% - to client sites within the United States and Tyler Offices based in Plano, TX and Modesto, CA

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional services such as consultation and education to clients on Tyler product APIs and data exchange tools. 
  • Design and conduct knowledge transfer sessions on-site or through webinars. 
  • Perform consultation/analysis of client business model to identify and document client requirements regarding integration with in-scope Tyler products. 
  • May identify and document business/technical requirement specifications for product interfaces and other relevant changes. 
  • Create both client-facing and internal documentation related to data exchanges. 
 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or comparable work experience. 
  • 2 or more years of prior work experience with XML Web Services and RESTful APIs. 
  • Working knowledge of different methods of data transfer (FTP, SFTP, SCP, HTTP/S) 
  • 2 or more years of prior experience with XML and JSON. 
  • Working knowledge of a web service testing application (such as SoapUI). 
  • Working knowledge of an HTTP web service testing tool (such as Postman). 
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and the ability to compose basic queries.  
  • Exceptional presentation and knowledge transfer skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Familiarity and ease with computer systems and Microsoft Office products. 
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.  
  • Ability to travel when required to client sites in the U.S.
