Description

 The PMO Manager is responsible for overseeing PMO activities by developing and establishing the organization’s approach to the full life cycle of projects and leading the Project Management Office for Courts & Justice implementations. This includes everything from project planning, initiation, method execution, monitoring, control, and project closeout.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the PMO team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Collaborate effectively with Professional Services leaders to translate prioritized business needs into operational methodology.
  • Establish and maintain the PMO framework, project management standards, methodology, tools, and processes for effective and efficient project delivery.
  • Provide guidance and support to the project managers and teams, ensuring that they follow the PMO standards and best practices, and adhere to the project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Monitor and control project quality, identifying and managing risks, issues, dependencies, and changes.
  • Prepare and present regular and accurate reports and dashboards on the status, health, and quality of the projects to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among the project managers ensuring that expectations are clear and best practices are revised and project methods are kept current.
  • Conduct lessons learned and post-implementation reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the PMO capabilities and performance.
  • Establish and maintain effective working partnerships with Sales, Support, Client Success, Development to ensure our project management methodologies align with corporate and divisional objectives.
  • Partner well with the Command Center and Training team to orchestrate method adoption.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience.
  • Five to seven years of implementation experience with project planning and leading large scope projects.
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to be a positive, professional, team-oriented leader that fosters good morale and staff development.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, technical environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • PMP Certification is highly recommended.
