Manager/Senior Manager, Strategic Partner Marketing

Nutanix Global Partner Marketing is seeking a creative, results-oriented marketing leader with a passion for driving growth with strategic alliance partnerships - Red Hat.

You will be building highly impactful marketing partnerships that expand Nutanix solution innovation, market reach, and customer relationships with the premier leading brands in the datacenter industry. You will be a cross functional leader of the marketing strategy, priorities, goals, and performance for a set of select partners with significant current and future revenue potential for the company.

You will work closely with OEM Sales, Alliances Business Development, Product & Solutions Marketing, and Regional Marketing stakeholders to drive holistic marketing plans that elevate market awareness; support scalable sales influence & enablement programs; and deliver joint demand generation programs that drive impact for our company and for our partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver holistic quarterly and annual marketing plans that support partnership and company growth objectives
  • Provide compelling packaged programs and strategic guidance to theatre marketing teams -- that energize and enable their execution with partners in-region to drive overall partnership objectives and marketing goals
  • Continually ensure alignment of our Marketing strategy with Product & Sales leaders based on partner portfolio strategy and solution key plays
  • Ensure effective budget management for marketing development funds – across forecasting, guidance and planning, operational management, and measurement of impact
  • Collaborate and integrate planning across Nutanix and partner marketing organizations
  • Be the trusted partner/leader with BD/Sales in driving to partnership revenue goals together

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ yrs. experience developing and executing partner marketing strategies collaboratively with sales and business development teams
  • 2+ yrs. experience working with Red Hat
  • Demonstrated success in achieving co-marketing impact with large tech vendor partners
  • Excellent relationship-building and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Start-up experience a plus


  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, or marketing disciplines


  • San Jose CA preferred, will consider other locations in U.S.
