Role and Responsibilities:
Performs cardiovascular ultrasound testing following established procedures; performs advanced cardiac sonography procedures; ability to work independently and as a team member; ability to generate respect and confidence from others; maintains excellent interpersonal skills, has the ability to listen, can handle questions and complaints as well as resolve problems amicably; displays characteristics that support a corporate customer orientation; ability to de-escalate tense situations with patients/customers; ability to manage stress.
What You Will Bring:
Education
Graduate of two (2) year Allied Health Training Program (including but not limited Registered Nursing or Diagnostic Medical Sonography).
Experience
Two (2) years training experience in Cardiac sonography (echocardiography).
Certification & Licensures
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required *
Requires registry by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in one or more specialties.
Qualifications
Must be available for participation in call rotation and call back testing. Must have the physical and mental and technical skills necessary to perform diagnostic testing of all ages, neonatal through adult as required. Possesses communication skills necessary to relate to physicians, peers and patients on a professional and technical level.
