What You Will Do:

The Epic OnBase Administrator is responsible to build, administer, support, and maintain a Hyland OnBase solution. Work with a team of Epic analysts, infrastructure specialists, and engineers to ensure services are integrated, delivered, and operated as required. Translate organizational needs into designs and solutions by collaborating with technical subject matter experts and being supported by third parties on information technology teams. The primary focus area will be administering and supporting the OnBase environment and integration with Epic.
Responsibilities and Duties
Implementation and support of Disk Groups, Document Types and Document Type groups, Keywords and Keyword Type Groups, Auto-Fill Keyword Sets (Internal and External), Reporting Dashboards, User Security Groups, Workflows, etc. Works with IT colleagues and/or the Hyland OnBase vendor to troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues and collaborates with the Epic and information technology teams to implement solutions. Troubleshoots and administers HL7, API and webservices integration between OnBase and Epic. Troubleshoots and assists with support of networking solutions for OnBase cloud solutions. Collaborates with Epic teams to ensure document types are in sync. Designs, implements, administers, maintains, and supports Hyland OnBase provided throughout the IT group and organization. Performs system performance tuning and engagements across cross-functional teams to shape design and product direction. Supports scanning teams with best practice solutions including barcoding, scanning processes, scan queues and Optical Character Recognition. Documents technical design solutions, architecture, release workflows, and system maintenance knowledge base articles. Supports information security, health information management, and compliance as need to support the organizations rules and regulations as they relate to system access and compliance. Designs, implements, and operates controls and management strategies to promote system security and compliance. Creates the specification and design of systems to meet defined business needs. Visualizes the ideal user service and creates design ideas and possible design approaches.

What You Will Bring:

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology related field or 4 years of equivalent work experience required.

Experience
Minimum (3) years' experience in an IT or healthcare role required
Prior experience with the following: OnBase applications, OnBase/Epic integration using HL7, APIs and webservices, OnBase Unity Client, Thick Client and Config, WebApp Server, Mailbox Importer, Report Services, DIP, Keyword Update, Workflow, Unity Forms, Office Integration, Production Document Imaging

Certification & Licensures
Onbase Certified System Administrator (OCSA) required within (6) months of hire
OnBase Certified Advanced System Administrator (OCASA) preferred
OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator (OCWA) preferred
OnBase Certified Advanced Workflow Administrator (OCAWA) preferred


Qualifications
Ability to translate manual processes with documentation into automated solutions using OnBase tools.
Ability to develop and maintain new and custom workflows using the OnBase workflow engine.
Ability to explore different approaches to solving problems.
Ability to work with business and technology stakeholders to translate business problems into technical designs.
Knowledge of vendor roadmaps for new releases, enhancements, and end-of-support announcements.
Ability to take ownership of problems and proactively resolves technical problems, ensuring that technical solutions continue to meet business requirements.
Understands and identifies problems, analyzing and helping to identify the appropriate solution.
Ability to classify and prioritize problems, document their causes, and implement remedies.
