Manager Financial Planning and Analysis (Austin, TX or Remote)

Thrive is looking for an experienced manager to join the expanding Financial Planning and Analysis team. Successful candidates are team-players with strong communication skills and superb attention to detail who can thrive in a fast-paced and evolving organization.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Partner with field team (Group Vice Presidents and Regional Operations Managers) to identify opportunities to improve financial performance aimed at maximizing top-line and bottom-line performance
- Provide leadership and oversight for business unit performance reporting, profitability analysis, and strategic and financial planning
- Support annual budgeting process for business unit, including modeling unit level profit and loss statements and capital expenditures
- Serve as training resource to educate field on how to interpret financial data and access financial reports
- Other ad hoc projects as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant finance work experience
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting or similar
- Solid financial acumen, analytical aptitude and proficient in accounting and financial principles
- Demonstrated success in advanced analysis
- Ability to efficiently manipulate large amounts of data using Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with cross-functional groups and all levels of management
- Ability to consistently communicate with a high-level of emotional intelligence
Desired Qualifications:
- Multi-store retail, multi-site healthcare or similar experience
- Prior work experience at high growth, private equity or venture capital backed companies
- Adaptive Insights and/or Workday financial software experience
- Power BI experience
