Who we are 

P.V. Village Pet Hospital is looking for a relief veterinarian to join us! We have been caring for pets for over 50 years and are in beautiful Redondo Beach, California.

At P.V. Village Pet Hospital, we’re proud to be our patient’s second guardian. We deliver full-service veterinary care with skill, compassion and attention to detail from head to tail.

Our patients deserve expert care. We are a busy, small, 2 doctor practice and most of our clients come to us by client referrals. We are well established in the community and take excellent care of our patients and clients. We are looking for a veterinarian who can stay calm under pressure who will support schedule of appointments and occasional walk-ins. We have a partner Thrive urgent Care just down the street who we can refer to when needed. We are well equipped with digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, therapeutic cold laser and a well-trained staff (RVT's and more in training!).

Redondo Beach is a coastal city in Los Angeles County, located in the South Bay region of the Greater Los Angeles area. It is one of three adjacent beach cities along the southern portion of Santa Monica Bay. We are about 20 minutes from LAX, there are many restaurants and shops nearby, not far from the beach, and have perfect weather!

Experience & Skills Requirements 

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
• State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

Relief rate is negotiable based on credentials and experience. The actual relief rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including location.
