Heart of Texas Veterinary Specialty Center, located in the Round Rock, TX (a suburb of Austin), is currently seeking a full-time, ER Veterinarian Mentor to join our team.

We are an AAHA accredited, Fear Free Certified (currently the ONLY ER/Specialty hospital that is certified in the area!), full-service 24/7 hospital, with dedicated doctors providing high quality medical care to the companion animal population in Austin and surrounding areas. We provide specialty care in the departments of Emergency, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Oncology (Medical).  Our specialists have been here long term and are dedicated to quality medicine. We partner with an on-site cardiologist 2 days a week and have ultrasound (performed with sonographer and reviewed by radiologist) available Monday-Saturday.

The Austin area is home to a wide variety of activities and is one of the fastest-growing cities in the country. In addition to being home to many technology corporations, Austin is known as "The Live Music Capital of the World", highlighted by a robust restaurant scene, multiple festivals, many outdoor activities, and water sports at the area lakes/rivers. We have mild winters and warm summers, with lots of sun!
