The North Field Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, analyzing, and optimizing all marketing activities to achieve pipeline goals. The regions supported include commercial and named accounts across Northeast and Eastern Canada.  

The primary goals of this position are to increase awareness and drive demand for Nutanix products and solutions. This role works in partnership with sales teams, local resellers and alliances, corporate marketing and field marketing team members to execute demand generation programs. Position works from home, preferably located in or Boston, NY Toronto area.


  • <spanBuild and maintain relationships with all local sales teams, channel partners, and technology alliance partners.
  • <spanDevelop deep understanding of target audience, including pain points, spending profiles, key projects and initiatives, and competing solutions, in each region.
  • <spanAlign and customize global campaigns to fit regional needs.
  • <spanDevelop marketing plans with all sales teams and top channel partners on a quarterly basis and conduct QBRs to measure results.
  • <spanExecute multi-touch demand generation programs that build pipeline to meet quarterly goals.
  • <spanIdentify relevant industry events and secure appropriate level of participation.
  • <spanCoordinate and manage all regional events, including seminars, tradeshows, networking events, and user group meetings.
  • <spanMeasure ROI for all activities and analyze the sales funnel to identify areas for continual improvement.


  • <span5+ years experience in marketing with strong emphasis in channel and field marketing.
  • <spanUnderstanding of datacenter infrastructure and virtualization technologies.
  • <spanDeep understanding of all modern demand generation channels and when to deploy each type of activity for maximum effectiveness.
  • Account-based marketing is a plus.
  • <spanExperience with and marketing automation solutions such as Marketo.
  • <spanStrong project management skills and ability to perform in fast-paced and high-energy environment.
  • <spanExtensive experience in localizing and executing global integrated campaigns, with a demonstrated track record of exceptional achievement in field marketing for high-tech B2B companies.
  • <spanBachelor’s degree in marketing, economics, business administration, mathematics, or statistics.
