Nutanix (NTNX) is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to closely align with our Field Systems Engineering (SE) community providing support for SE-initiated requests.  The Pre-Sales Shared Services team is responsible for the technical configuration, Bill of Materials, quoting, and Initial customer presentation for Field SE requests that will position our customer for a successful deployment.  The successful candidate in this role will be able to take the customer requirements provided by an SE and deliver a complete solution such that an SE can confidently present the solution to the customer.  The successful candidate for the role will need to understand the same Nutanix tooling as our field SEs and in many cases work closely with the field SE in collaboration as they validate the customer is getting everything they need in the defined solution   

Sales Operations at Nutanix   

Our Systems Engineering & Solution Sales organization is made up of 800+ customer-focused technical sales professionals who are responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities with the customer’s business issues and objectives, as well as channel partner training and enablement. This team also acts in a consultative fashion and is looked to as an expert in their field by the Nutanix sales, customer success, business partners, and customers.   

Your Role   

●      Technically curious, attention to detail, and a desire to continuously learn new technology.   

●      Perform analysis by collaborating with the team seeking out required information,
raising concerns, considering others perspectives to validate assumptions, configurations, and viability of solutions. Create business solutions and work with other experts within Nutanix to validate assumptions, configurations, and viability of solutions.   

●      Navigate & build long-term relationships within the SE organization such they will be seen and treated as their trusted/valued resource​   

●      Business Acumen, an understanding of business workflows so the candidate can comprehend and define business challenges and strategies.   

●      Strong Change Management Skills: Follow Up, Follow Through, Accountability, Sense of Urgency, and Superior Customer Service   

●      Demonstrate features and articulate benefits of Nutanix solutions​.   

●      Size and configure Nutanix solutions​.   

●      Willing to work in different shift timings to support stakeholders in APJ, AMER and EMEA timezone   

●      “Familiarity with or Knowledge of” two or more of the following areas:   

·   Application Virtualization   

Common Core knowledge of Data Centers and related technologies used within a Data Center   

·   Server Virtualization   

·   Networking, storage, and platform performance / sizing   

·   Hybrid Cloud terminology and technology   

What You Will Bring   

●      2 to 3 years of IT and/or Cloud administrator experience and experience in a technical role related to the competencies above.
