The AOS Core Product Management Team at Nutanix consists of 8 product managers geographically dispersed in Bangalore and San Jose. This diverse team has a proven track record of successfully delivering innovative products and bringing new solutions to market. Your Role
  • Define and develop product strategy and roadmap. Translate market needs into product capabilities and directions. Present to key team members including executive team.
  • Evaluate customer and market trends through customer interviews, workload analysis, partnerships, technology innovations, and competitive analysis as part of product planning.
  • Drive product profitability and investment in new markets and use cases / workloads.
  • Write detailed actionable product requirement documents (PRDs) and user stories.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from product definition to product release.
  • Partner with marketing to provide positioning and messaging as well as contribute to GTM enablement. Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to Nutanix sales teams.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Solutions, Support, Sales and Partner teams on an ongoing basis.
     
What You Will Bring
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise storage market and technologies (SAN, iSCSI, NVMeOF)
  • Experience with virtualization, data center / cloud infrastructure or associated domains.
  • Experience with data-centric workloads (Databases, Big Data) or emerging data storage technologies a plus
  • Must have business acumen and ability to build business cases, communicate effectively verbally as well through professionally done presentations and write-ups, influence others, and measure success.
  • Ability to be self-motivated towards the achievement and measurement of established goals.
  • Aptitude to develop and maintain satisfactory working relationships with customers, sales, engineering, and cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail in executing complex projects. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 172,000 and USD $ 344,400 per year.
 
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
