Description
Responsibilities
- Develops knowledge of Tyler products and services to gain a thorough understanding of products and services as they relate to existing clients.
- Successfully build relationships with existing clients to sell products and services
- Proactive client outreach to determine needs and interest in purchasing additional products and services.
- Explains capabilities, answers questions, and research issues in support of selling additional products and services.
- Follows up on leads from internal employees to investigate client issues, questions, etc.
- Manages sales cycles from lead generation to close of sale.
- Travels to trade shows, user groups and/or client sites as needed.
- Assists with preparation of RFP responses.
- Meets a pre-set annual sales quota.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous ERP domain experience preferred.
- Previous sales experience in the software industry a plus.
- Must possess a competitive drive and results-oriented approach.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills. Previous public speaking experience a plus.
- Must be a self-starter in addition to a team player.
