Tyler's Rhode Island Enterprise is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our team as an Administrative Assistant in Providence, RI.  This will be a part-time position and be expected to be on-site.  
 
Our Administrative Assistant is an adept multi-tasker who can juggle multiple priorities, provide outstanding service to our customers, and work with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure they achieve an exceptional outcome. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who has excellent communication skills and impeccable attention for detail. The candidate should also have experience working in an office environment, performing administrative tasks, and providing support to coworkers.
 
 

 Responsibilities 

  • Supports project management (e.g. preparing reports, meeting materials, meeting coordination, event planning, etc.).
  • Maintain customer files.
  • Support financial month end close process.
  • Make travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Provide support to various projects as requested.
  • Interacts effectively with a diverse group of staff, clients, and customers. 
  • Handles confidential information with tact and discretion.
  • Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned.
 
 

Qualifications

  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and Word.
  • Experience with MS Outlook for scheduling meetings/conferences.
  • Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Experience supporting a multi-person team and juggling competing demands.
  • Prior experience as an administrative assistant, or similar role, ideally at least 1-2 years is ideal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Independent judgment skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to take on additional responsibility when needed.
  • Prior experience in the tech industry desirable.
  • Demonstrated adaptability with prior experience handling changes in the work environment, managing competing demands and dealing with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
