Associate Project Manager
Description
The Associate Project Manager with Tyler Technologies, Digital Solutions Division (Alabama) is a unique position that requires excellent relationship management skills, team collaboration, and an analytic approach to documentation. The position requires you to be a consultant and problem solver for our state agency partners.
Responsibilities include supporting new and existing projects, technical requirements gathering, writing the project scope of work, and working with a small team of dedicated software engineers to ensure on-time delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Function as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for your specific state partners.
- Build and maintain strong partner relationships.
- Understand the partner's business processes, document those processes as they relate to our online applications and recommend potential business process improvements where necessary.
- Establish project milestones based on the functional requirements, the scope of work, and development resource bandwidth.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner
- Collaborate with team members to define requirements.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
- Ensure that all deliverables are of high quality.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects.
- Communicate clearly with partners and internal stakeholders.
- Forecast and track key account metrics.
- Identify and grow opportunities and collaborate with team members to ensure growth.
- Complete functional testing of applications and features along with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Technical project management experience highly desirable
- Understanding of web application programming highly desirable
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
