JOB SUMMARY
The Digital Marketing Specialist supports WebMD Ignite’s business objectives by developing innovative marketing campaigns that increase awareness and demand for WebMD Ignite solutions and services. This person is responsible for key marketing initiatives including lead generation and nurturing, promotions, and overseeing tactical execution of account-based marketing campaigns. The Digital Marketing Specialist also develops compelling messaging and campaigns targeting B2B audiences in the digital health, health plan, hospital, and care management markets. 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Works with Strategic Marketing to create innovative B2B marketing campaigns that convince more organizations to choose WebMD Ignite solutions.
  • Drafts, gains consensus on, and implements plans for marketing projects. 
  • Works with creative team and outside vendors to execute effective marketing projects in collaboration with a wide variety of WebMD Ignite roles, including executives, product and product marketing managers, sales executives, and account managers. 
  • Conducts marketing research and collaborates with others to develop compelling messaging. 
  • Designs and executes marketing automation and lead nurturing programs, including creating drip campaigns, scoring leads, and reporting performance.
  • Develops and implements advertising strategy. Identifies best opportunities, manages budgets, develops assets, and analyzes results.
  • Creates and executes marketing plans for conferences, trade shows, and other events.
  • Works with general supervision and exercises a moderate level of self-direction.
  • Performs other duties, or special projects, as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years’ experience creating compelling and creative marketing, communications, and public relations projects for B2B audiences.
  • Working in health care and demonstrated understanding of the health care market a plus. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organization skills and the ability to manage multiple, diverse projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Competency with DemandBase or 6sense platforms a plus.
  • Competency with GSuite, MS products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, and Salesforce a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of direct marketing, design/layout best practices.
