JOB SUMMARY
The Information Security Systems Analyst performs various functions related to Healthwise’s information security program, including providing support for information security processes and managing/maintaining Healthwise’s security documentation and processes.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Responsible for monitoring and ensuring end-users adhere to Information Technology policies, standards, and best practices
  • Consult with Healthwise teams to identify improvements and mitigate risk to Healthwise’s security program
  • Make recommendations to leadership about security advancements to best protect Healthwise Systems
  • Manage policy, procedure, and audit documentation review and update processes
  • Complete internal and external security audits and assessments
  • Manage and support Healthwise’s HITRUST assessment process
  • Manage, maintain, and test the cybersecurity incident response plan
  • Manage, maintain, and test the BC/DR plan for the corporate and product environments
  • Consult with Healthwise teams to identify, compile and analyze data requirements for reporting and measuring security information 
  • Performs systems analysis to identify, document, and remediate computer vulnerabilities in servers, systems and applications and consult with Security Operations Engineers on findings and recommendations
  • Leads the Healthwise security review meetings
  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • 4-year college degree (CS, CIS preferred) or equivalent education and work experience 
  • Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to work within a team and be self-motivated
