The Opportunity:    

Everyday Health Pregnancy & Parenting is seeking a Senior Affiliate Marketing Manager to own and optimize our affiliate commerce strategy for What to Expect and BabyCenter.   With an expertise in ecommerce, you will orchestrate cohesive marketing strategies across email, push notifications, app messaging, online communities, and more. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer and collaborating closely with the editorial, product and marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in fueling incremental growth for our commerce vertical.

Key Responsibilities:     
  • Strategy Development:     
    • Develop marketing strategies, objectives, and ongoing test-and-learn plans to drive traffic, increase engagement, and optimize conversion across online channels.    
    • Generate innovative ideas to enhance the affiliate commerce strategy, exploring creative approaches for revenue growth, expanding collaborations, and unlocking net new opportunities in the pregnancy and parenting niche.   
  • Campaign Coordination:     
    • Oversee planning, execution and optimization of affiliate marketing campaigns / shopping content  across email newsletters, app promotions, push notifications, etc    
    • Work with the editorial team to develop a planning calendar and framework designed to deliver relevant shopping content at the right time.    
    • Collaborate closely with Editorial, Product, and Data Analytics teams regularly to optimize performance (i.e. conversion rates, average order value) and traffic/reach of commerce content.   
  • Performance Analysis:     
    • Monitor and analyze KPIs related to conversion funnels and revenue performance, providing regular insights to stakeholders.    
    • Partner with the data analytics team to comprehend business trends by marketing channel, by retailer and category, identifying opportunities and challenges.   
  • Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and innovations in affiliate marketing to inform growth strategies.   
  
Job Qualifications:    
  • Minimum 4 years prior experience in product marketing, e-commerce, or affiliate marketing.     
  • BA degree or equivalent    
  • Proven experience in ecommerce and affiliate marketing, understanding of the Amazon Associates program is a bonus    
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.    
  • Previous experience at an affiliate publisher or a pregnancy/parenting brand is a plus.    
  • You’re a self-starter, and you love improving processes and efficiencies

Compensation for this business unit specific role is based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, as well as business & company performance.
