DevOps Lead Cloud Engineer

The Role:
Join a close knit International operations team supporting a 100% cloud voice and messaging platforms - Line2 and eVoice. Help build cloud Infrastructure you are proud of!
Line2 is looking for a hands-on DevOps Lead who will develop, design, deploy, and maintain our core application and voice stack in AWS. The operations and engineering teams work towards configuration management, maximizing uptime, metric based monitoring, disaster recovery and scalability. Potential candidates must have expertise creating enterprise architecture in AWS.
Responsibilities:
● Innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, and out-of-the-box thinking
● Provide operational support to engineering teams
● Consistent communication team to show transparency
● Document and share your processes and procedures
● Participation in On-Call rotation
Requirements:
● Deep experience working with enterprise production environments in AWS.
● Commitment to IAC and CICD
● Strong skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell or other scripting languages
● Expert knowledge working with and diagnosing Windows and Linux servers, AWS services, and workflows
● Fluency in observability tools like Cloudwatch and Grafana
Other helpful skills:
● Networking and WAF knowledge
● Experience with containers and AWS Lambda
● Experience maintaining Databases (MySQL, MS SQL Server)
Salary range is $120-$175K CAD depending on experience.
