About The Role:
We are seeking a skilled individual to assist in the development of internal apps using Retool for the internal apps team at TDS Gift Cards. This role will be responsible for migrating various processes into structured internal tools, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and build internal web apps using Retool.
- Engage in the entire product development flow, from planning and ideation to defining and building.
- Apply general business knowledge to ensure the tools align with business processes and needs.
- Document processes, workflows, and progress effectively.
- Handle both ambiguous and well-defined problems, providing solutions as needed.
- Participate in project planning and discussions to provide input and suggestions.
- Ensure the tools have a user-friendly UI design.
- Utilize software development knowledge to independently support and implement features in Retool, including workflows.
- Collaborate with the internal apps team and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with UI concepts and design.
- Experience with internal tools and the product development process.
- Proficiency in SQL and JavaScript.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Availability during Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.
- Familiarity with backend development
- Ability to lead requirement solicitation and gather detailed project needs.
- Capability to function throughout the entire product development cycle, from planning to deployment.
- Experience with Retool is preferred but not required.
- Advanced SQL knowledge is preferred but not required.
- Advance development knowledge is preferred but not required.
