We are looking for an experienced Finance Operations Manager who will provide support for the Cybersecurity and Marketing Technology division. Reporting directly to our Vice President, Financial Operations, and the successful candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical and accounting skills to drive our organization's financial operations and improve financial performance. Furthermore, the Finance Operations Manager should harmonize financial operations, establish sustainable business operational strategies, lead efforts towards financial stability, monitor all financial activities, promote revenue growth, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Business Partnering  

  • Provide critical business support to the leadership team to inform decision making and strategic direction
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and other teams to develop a comprehensive view of the business model and financial processes
  • Partner with other areas within Finance / Accounting to drive automation and business improvements to generate process efficiencies

 Strategic Analysis  

  • Develop innovative and impactful analyses, tools, processes and procedures to facilitate and monitor business performance
  • Present to Senior Leadership Team
  • Partner with Operations, Marketing, Sales, IT, Distribution and respective leadership teams in refining, communicating and generating support for the Financial Operations Roadmap 

Finance Transformation / Process Improvement  

  • Partner with functional teams to automate and improve existing processes
  • Ability to work in multiple ERP and Billing systems and quickly analyse areas for improvement
  • Work with BI to develop KPI dashboards and reporting capabilities that drive actionable business insights

Education and Experience  

  • 3-5+ years PQE of experience in finance in the internet/technology sector
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, MBA (is a plus)
  • Experience with finance transformation projects
  • Experience reviewing, analysing and implementing financial systems
  • Experience working with subscription based businesses and related KPI's.
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, due diligence and the subsequent integrations
  • Experience in general accounting and an understanding of USA GAAP requirements

Knowledge And Skills  

  • Proficient technology skills, including MS Office Suite, Excel, Python
  • Knowledge of Hyperion, Oracle Cloud
  • Knowledge of data warehouses, AWS Quicksight, domo and Salesforce are a plus
  • Strong communication skills catered to a wide variety of audiences.
  • The ability to solve complex problems
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills.
