Sales Engineering at Nutanix
The Systems Engineering Manager would be a part of the Nutanix sales team, working closely with sales professionals and channel partners. They would collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and design effective solutions based on Nutanix offerings. The manager would also provide technical leadership and guidance in various stages of the sales cycle, as well as perform product demonstrations and solution evaluations. They would act as an interface to product management and provide reporting and feedback on customer accounts. The role requires strong teamwork and collaboration with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and engineering.
Your Role
  • Provide pre-sales consulting & technical guidance
  • Collaborate with sales teams to recommend & design solutions
  • Articulate features & benefits of Nutanix solutions
  • Understand customer's business drivers & map to Nutanix solutions
  • Deliver product demonstrations & presentations
  • Manage solution evaluations & proofs-of-concept
  • Act as interface between sales teams & technical staff
  • Provide reporting & feedback on customer accounts

  • Strong technical expertise in virtualization technologies, data center consolidation, and server technologies
  • Proven ability to articulate the features and benefits of product solutions
  • Experience in managing systems/sales engineers

With his dedication and strategic approach, he quickly moved into managing EMEA Emerging Markets, where he has been leading with distinction for the last 5 years.  Before Nutanix, Paulo spent 16 years at Cisco, working in diverse roles across Portugal, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. In September, 2023, Paulo took on leadership for our EMEA SE organization. he's looking forward to progressing the work that's currently underway and excited to move Nutanix business to the next level across the region."
