The Opportunity

Are you a highly skilled and customer-focused technologist with expertise in Virtualization, Networking, and Storage? If so, you should join our Systems Reliability Engineering (SRE) team at Nutanix in Hoofddorp. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and work with cutting-edge Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) technology and Hybrid-Cloud solutions while delivering exceptional support to our global customers.


About the Team

At Nutanix, you will have the opportunity to be a part of the Systems Reliability Engineering (SRE) team based in Hoofddorp. Our SRE team comprises talented individuals working collaboratively to deliver the best support to our customers promptly. As a team, we are focused on maintaining high system reliability and availability.

You will report to the Support Manager, who provides guidance and support in ensuring seamless operations within the team. At Nutanix, we offer a hybrid work setup where employees are expected to be in the office for two days a week. This setup allows for a good balance between the collaborative benefits of in-person interactions and the flexibility of remote work.

In terms of travel requirements, there are no extensive travel demands for this position. Our focus is primarily on delivering exceptional support to our customers while maintaining a healthy work-life balance for our team members.


Your Role

  • Provide technical support for Nutanix's HCI solutions globally
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues
  • Collaborate with development engineering team for product improvements
  • Resolve cross-vendor issues with technology partners
  • Test new features and tools to improve product serviceability
  • Deliver excellent support experience to customers
  • Stay up-to-date with innovative cloud technologies

What You Will Bring

  • 3 to 5+ years of relevant technical experience
  • Expertise in Virtualization, Networking, Storage
  • Proficiency in Linux 
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset
  • Fluent in English with knowledge of EU languages
  • Passion for learning innovative cloud technologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
