Catapult Learning, LLC is looking for a qualified and experienced ESE Teachers in Florida! We have a private High School in Apopka in need of a full-time (40 hours per week) Certified ESE Program Manager/Teacher for our Special Education programs. This position is in a face-to-face environment, and will provide support to all eligible high school ESE students needing additional academic assistance. Program Manager duties include supporting students during academic programming, referring students in need of assessment testing for disabilities, reviewing IEPs and 504 plans for students with ongoing academic needs, implementing instruction according to designed plans, and meeting with core instruction teachers regularly to ensure a structured, customized academic plan is created and followed for each student.

Job Duties:  

  • Provide support to all eligible high school ESE students in a face-to-face school setting (and virtually, if necessary).
  • Support students during academic programming.
  • Refer students in need of assessment testing for disabilities.
  • Review IEPs and 504 plans for students with ongoing academic needs.
  • Implement instruction according to designed plans.
  • Meet with core instruction teachers regularly to ensure a structured, customized academic plan is created and followed for each student.
  • Attend training sessions and deliver designated instructional models and strategies to eligible students through utilization of company-designed materials and educational strategies. 
  • Maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans provided for you by Catapult Learning. 
  • Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies. 
  • Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents. 

Requirements:  

  • Current FL Teaching Certificate or Statement of Eligibility
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher 
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with ESE students and programs
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with instructing students (9-12)
  • Experience with both onsite classroom and virtual teaching/instructing preferred  
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and virtual meeting programs (Zoom, etc.) preferred  
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards students, administration, parents, and other internal and external customers
