Senior Director of School Partnerships

Fullbloom is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Senior Director of School Partnerships for our growing K-12 solutions organization. Reporting directly to our newly appointed Chief Revenue Officer, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving top-line revenue growth and leading a high-performing regional sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Oversee the sales team dedicated to promoting diversified products and solutions to both K-12 public and non-public entities. Ensure the team's success in new customer acquisition, key account management, and strategic pipeline growth.
  • Productivity Enhancement: Establish and enhance sales productivity by maintaining a laser focus on key performance indicators (KPIs) and efficient funnel management. Regularly assess and improve sales team activities.
  • Customer Engagement: Conduct virtual and field-based visits to support customer meetings and presentations, fostering meaningful connections and understanding client needs.
  • Performance Management: Manage team performance through thorough activity measurements, pipeline reviews, quarterly assessments, and annual performance evaluations.
  • Key-Account Strategies: Develop, drive, and oversee key-account strategies and stakeholder management, ensuring a proactive approach to customer relationships.
  • Sales Quota Attainment: Coach the sales team to meet and exceed sales quotas and revenue targets, providing guidance and support to maximize individual and collective success.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders in operations, marketing, and proposal development to align efforts and achieve common goals.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in regular planning and strategy meetings focused on growth efforts, contributing valuable insights, and aligning team objectives with broader organizational goals.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in federal and state funding impacting K-12, including Title I, Title II, Title IV, IDEA, as well as the ability to pivot and drive temporary funding strategies as applicable.
  • Market Identification: Collaborate with the executive team to identify attractive markets that align favorable funding frameworks with FullBloom’s portfolio of products.

Education and Experience:

  • Sales Expertise: A minimum of 10 years of sales experience in K12 solution and service-based models.
  • Leadership Experience: 10-15 years of experience directly managing remote sales professionals with a demonstrated track record of meeting revenue targets.
  • Sales Target Management: Proven experience in managing annual, multi-million-dollar sales targets in the K-12 industry.
  • Strategic Mindset and Execution: Strategic growth mindset with a proven ability to develop and execute regional sales plans.
  • Legislative Understanding: Possess an intimate understanding of state and federal legislation that generates and regulates public and nonpublic funding.
  • RFP Procurement: Solid experience with procuring, driving, and collaborating with internal stakeholders for K-12 Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Collaborative Skills: Effective in cross-functional collaboration across a diverse set of teams and functions including operations, marketing, finance and more.
  • Leadership Style: A leader who listens, supports, teaches, and inspires while remaining coachable. Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous individual growth.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and organizational skills. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, as well as outside partners and other stakeholders.

This is a remote role and will require 40% travel. Compensation will include salary and an attractive bonus based on the team’s performance.
