Bilingual (Spanish) School Counselor or Social Worker

Catapult Learning is seeking a full-time, bilingual PA Certified School Counselor or PA Licensed Social Worker to work as the Family Connections Liaisons at a non-public elementary school in Philadelphia.
Compensation is $34-37/hr.
The Family Connections Liaison will assess and counsel students individually or in small groups as they overcome whatever challenges they might face and alleviate the external barriers interfering with their ability to succeed. Candidates must possess strong knowledge in evidence-based practices, demonstrate exceptional interpersonal communication skills, be computer literate, independent, flexible, and people oriented.
How you’ll be there for students:
Be their advocate, difference maker, and mentor.
- Provide individual and group counseling, group guidance lessons, and consultations.
- Consult and collaborate with both school personnel and parents/guardians to develop specific interventions on behalf of eligible students.
- Refer students and families to appropriate community agencies.
- Provide parent involvement workshops.
- Complete documentation in compliance with the School District and Catapult Learning requirements.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Active PA School Counseling Certification or Licensed Social Worker
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Catapult Learning employees are subject to state and local licensure and pre-employment screening.
- Must be proficient with virtual platforms, i.e. Zoom
