SUMMARY: 

As a Site Coordinator in a Catapult Learning Early Childhood Program, you are required to always perform the following job functions to the best of your ability. You will receive training from a qualified Catapult Learning Program Director. The Site Coordinator will oversee the program of Four Before and Afterschool Sites in the Passaic Public Schools. Passaic, New Jersey.  The program will operate from 7:30am – 8:05am and 2:30pm – 5:30pm on all regular school days.  The Site Coordinator will work daily from 12:30pm – 5:30pm .   Please feel free to express any concerns in areas where you may need additional training or information. 

  

JOB DESCRIPTION 

  • Ensure the development and implementation of the center's child development and activities program for school-age children.
  • Ensure the appropriateness of program activities according to the age and development level of the child, as specified in N.J.A.C 3A:52-6.l(a)
  • Be scheduled to work at least 75% of the school age childcare program's daily operating hours.
  • Complete 20 hours of continuing staff development each year.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable provisions of the NJ Manual of requirements for Child Care Centers.
  • As a Site Coordinator must develop relationships with the school administration and staff, and parents at the assigned school. 
  • Coordinate program recruitment
  • Coordinate and facilitate daily program operations; including staff scheduling, maintain site attendance, and tuition reimbursements.
  • Maintains Supplies inventory.
  • Assist with curriculum activities.

  

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Must meet or exceed the qualification requirements set forth in chapter 52, Manual of Requirements for Child Care Centers, State of New Jersey.
  • Associate Degree in Early Childhood or bachelor’s degree Early Childhood
  • Must Have Pediatric CPR/First Aid Training and Certification
  • Must complete Child Abuse Record Information Background Check.
  • Must complete a Criminal History Record Information Background Check.

  

 PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS: 

  • Light lifting, walking, climbing stairs. Most programs are in school settings.
