Catapult Learning is looking for a part time certified NJ teacher to positively impact a child’s education at Politz Day School in Cherry Hill, NJ.  

The teacher will be responsible for providing educational programs and establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth. This role is part-time, 5 afternoons per week. Compensation is $30-32/hr.  We are looking for an experience teacher who is comfortable with the basic skills, reading and math for grades K-8.   

Teachers must be available to work in the afternoons. 


Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:  

  • Attends training sessions, passes content assessment, and delivers designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills to eligible students through utilization of Company-designed materials and educational strategies.
  • Develops and maintains individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
  • Willing to teach ESL to students, if needed. 
  • Ensures supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classroom or to mobile/trailer classroom.
  • Establishes and maintains student forms and files as required by Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
  • Attends and documents conferences/meetings/trainings with Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
  • Maintains inventory of educational materials and supplies.
  • Other duties may be assigned.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:  

  • Active NJ teaching certificate K-8 is required, CE, CEAS, STANDARD NJ TEACHING CERTIFICATE REQUIRED
  • Catapult Learning employees are subject to state and local licensure and pre-employment screening. 
  • Proficient in MS Office, OneDrive, Zoom, etc.
