How you’ll be there for students:

Play a critical role in supporting the behavioral, personal, emotional, and social development of students. How you’ll do it:
Positively impact the educational, behavioral, social, and emotional welfare of every student with whom you engage.
Develop student rapport through trust-building language and personalized check-ins
Nurture student potential through asynchronous communication centered on student goals and targets
Facilitate student growth through individualized lessons by reviewing student answers, providing timely feedback, and helping students identify action steps to reach their goals
Monitor student progress by reviewing daily lesson feedback and progress tracker to make data-driven decisions
Encourages the student to complete lessons, utilize reflection skills, and develop action steps to meet their goals
Stay at the forefront of current changes and trends in the field, equipping yourself with the tools and knowledge to deliver guidance and support to those you serve.
Forge a foundation of trust and reliability through a deep understanding of the rules and procedures set forth by the Company Counseling Policy and Procedure Manual, the funding source, and the individual school.

What we’ll need from you:
Master’s degree in counseling or related field
Licensure or Certification in mental health field (LCSW, LPC, CSC, etc,)
Experience working with K-12 students required
Experience working with students in a mental health or therapeutic setting preferred
Knowledge of CASEL and National Health and Wellness Standards
Proficiency in utilizing technology to communicate with students
