Catapult Learning, LLC is looking for qualified and experienced School Counselors in Florida! We have schools throughout the state in need of part-time and full-time Certified School Counselors and Licensed Mental Health Counselors for the 2022-2023 school year. These positions are in-person and focus on individualized or small group counseling for grades K-12 (depending on school assignment); the ideal candidate will be comfortable counseling students in multiple grade levels and providing students, staff, and parents with clinical, therapeutic, and specialized counseling services and mental health resources.

Job Duties: 

  • Counsel individual or small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting.  
  • Conduct individual, small group, and classroom (when appropriate) guidance counseling with students with signed parental consent. Counseling may focus on academic, emotional, behavioral, or developmental issues to promote enhanced school functioning. 
  • Provide support to families, classroom teachers, school principal and other school personnel to maximize effectiveness of services.  
  • Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations. Climbing stairs and light lifting may be required.  
  • Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation).  
  • Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.  
  • Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.  
  • Other duties as assigned.  


  • FL School Counselor certificate or Mental Health License 
  • Master's Degree in a Counseling Field 
  • Experience with counseling children and/or students 
  • Must be willing to work with various grade levels  
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and virtual meeting programs (Zoom, Teams, etc.) preferred
