Research Boulevard Pet and Bird Hospital is a progressive exotic/avian and small animal hospital in search of a full-time Medical Director with excellent communication skills and a love for mentoring.
We are searching for a confident, compassionate, and highly skilled Medical Director to join our healthcare team. Our team members are highly trained and are used to their fullest potential allowing you the freedom to utilize your extensive diagnostic capabilities. We are looking for a self-starter who is dependable, energetic, and willing to teach, learn, and help the team reach their fullest potential.
Who we are
We see small exotics/birds and dogs and cats. You will enjoy working in our beautiful well-equipped facility. Our practice has a special interest in Wellness, Dentistry, Diagnostics/Imaging, and Avian and Small Exotic healthcare. With over 4000 active clients, our practice provides a bond-centered environment that is exciting, fast-paced, and professionally challenging. Our primary focus is on client service and patient care through the use of ultrasound, endoscopy, radiology, multi-model anesthetic monitors for every patient under anesthesia, and extensive orthopedic and soft tissue capabilities, we provide excellent care for our patients. In general, our clientele is well-educated and expects the best for their pets.
Experience & Skills Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
