The Project Manager is responsible for managing the full life-cycle optimization projects from concept and planning through development, implementation and execution.  Evaluates projects and consolidates best practices to ensure projects are executed flawlessly.

Responsibilities:

  • Assures the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned projects are completed within budget, identifies current and future risks. Works with project team to mitigate delays or roadblocks
  • Manages and controls project milestones and budgets from planning through construction, implementation, and transfer of work, coach and partner across the organization to ensure the project team successfully meets objective.
  • Oversees the work being completed by the internal and external project teams. Coordinates technical details and communication to support projects
  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously and understands details and obligations for the projects to ensure a successful conclusion
  • Facilitates effective communication and task execution among project team. Resolves conflicts as necessary
  • Drafts AFEs proposals, project estimates, etc.
  • Develops templates and processes to replicate across projects to ensure success
  • Supports equipment enhancement from selection to implementation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related degree.
    PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or equivalent certifications preferred.
  • Five (5) years’ project management experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, CAD, CAM or related software.
  • Effective verbal, interpersonal. and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, detail orientation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate appropriately.
  • Ability to quickly learn about the project equipment, assemble a team and develop action plans.
  • Has a detailed understanding of the project and coordinates each facet. Ensures equipment is secured and installed timely, staff is trained, trials are completed, and customers and work are successfully transferred with minimal disruption to service.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to get the job done.
  • Occasional travel.
  • Ability to work at a computer a significant amount of the time.
  • Ability to navigate narrow aisles in an industrial setting near heavy equipment and machinery.
